Finding Warton Stock Car Club is now so easy, thanks to this printable photo directions page.. Even your mam could find it..
Well maybe!
Leave the M6 at junction 35 take A601(M) towards Carnforth.
Turn left at next roundabout and keep following the signs for Carnforth.
Turn right at lights in Carnforth.
Follow road until you see the signposts (left at a big junction, Sand Lane - turn where the silver estate is turning.).
Up the hill and the road has a sharp bend right -- GO straight on up the little lane at the corner (do not turn right!!).
Through a gate and follow the road round to the left and up the hill. Its that easy :).
If you buy an AtoZ for LANCASTER Heysham Morecambe, Warton Stock Car Club is in square A2 on page 4 (North of
the Keer Channel)... The A to Z is about £5 and can be gotten from sevice stations and ASDAS.
If yer posh and ave a Sat Nav then the postcode is LA5 9NJ...
If it is your first trip to Warton Stock Car Club then heres a few do's and don'ts..
DO...
..wear sensible shoes or boots, no heels or owt daft.
..bring a piece of foam, or a foldaway chair.
..bring a hat/baseball cap.
..go the Track Shop for souvenirs of your visit, key rings, stickers, hats, etc.
..bring a camera.
..dress the kids in old clothes, not their latest designer gear.
..get to the track early, around 10PM to get a good parking space.
..stay safe, be aware that there are cars moving in the car park aswell as the pits..
DON'T...
..rely on weather reports, bring waterproof coats and sunscreen, and trust me it can be all weather in one day!
..expect to get home as clean as you arrive. There is plenty of dust & mud (when wet) to get you mucky.
..bring alcohol or anything bad, you will be asked to leave
